Risk of mood swings, depression, nausea, bloating, weight gain, liver disease, heart attack, stroke, rashes, cervical erosion, coronary thrombosis, thromboembolic phenomena (blood clots to the rest of us).... Sounds like a very bad day.

Would you believe that millions of women assume these risks every time they take hormonal contraceptives (i.e., “the pill” or “the shot”)? And at the center of NFP is what matters most: intimate and lasting love, real friendship and a deep appreciation for the body. It’s about the relationship, not the “medical” solution. Blended with scientific insight, these are the driving forces behind NFP.
